Vithal is a serial entrepreneur and has successfully exited two startups prior to founding CtrlSpend. Previously, Vithal held various management positions at Unilever, Genpact, most recently as Senior Director/Global Head of Procurement(DDIT) in Novartis, focusing on driving accelerated procurement performance and dealing with multiple global suppliers for generics divestiture at Novartis. At Unilever, Vithal headed global procurement operations across direct and indirect spend. He brings along a deep understanding of technology, procurement across healthcare and consumer goods organizations.
